Q1: How are the winners decided?
A1: A group of Dan's family, friends, and colleagues read essays and we use a ranked choice voting system to identify the winners.
Q2: Where does the money come from?
Q2: Generous donations from people like you! But really, these scholarships started because of the generosity of family, friends, and colleagues of Dan (and his family). We greatly appreciate every dollar we've received. Click here to check out ways you can donate.
Q3: When will the next round of scholarships open?
A3: We try to open the scholarship application window in January/February and close it in May. We plan to continue to announce our winners on Father's Day as Dan loved being a dad (in particular he loved being a girl scout dad!).
